Rather than relying on static XML/JSON templates for every meter model, modern HES drivers automatically discover the complete object model on initial commissioning.

Auto-Discovery Pipeline

1. Connect with Management Client (0x01).
2. Query 0.0.40.0.0.255 (Association LN) Attribute 2 (object_list).
3. Iterate over the returned array of objects, recording class_id, version, logical_name, and access rights.
4. For all Class 3/4 registers, immediately read Attribute 3 (scaler_unit) to cache physical conversion multipliers in the device database.
5. Cache the generated schema in memory to achieve zero-configuration plug-and-play for new meter deployments!
